My Irish twins bedroom

For those of you that don't know me. My two little ones are 10 1/2 months apart. I call them my little Irish twins. These are pictures of their new room.

I stenciled an Irish Blessing around the top of the room.

It reads "Bless your little Irish heart and every other Irish part."

The dresser that I worked on for months. If I ever decide to strip another piece of furniture, someone just shoot me please !!

We installed white bead board on the lower half of the room.

I don't have a before picture, but imagine dark blue on the upper wall and bright green on the lower part. The room used to be my son's,but he never slept in it. Over the summer we moved everybody around. Now my son shares a room with his sister. Which he likes. He calls her his roommate.

Star Gazing

Well I heard on the radio yesterday that there was going to be a meteor shower this morning. Best time to see it was between 1am and 6am. We had just finished a chapter on the Solar System and Stars. So I got the girls up around 5:30a this moring to see if we could see any shooting stars. I saw one, but no one else did.  We also identified the Little Dipper.  Isn't Homeschooling great ?

Tiny Treasures Tuesday

Miss G just turned 13 a couple of weeks ago. She is turning into a lovely young lady. She is trying so hard to be a teen and not so much a kid anymore. She is my oldest and I can't believe I have a teenager.

Miss B has been helping me paint her Loft bed. I have really enjoyed spending time with her. She is such a good big sister with baby Z. Baby Z just loves her so much.

Miss M, has been a little bit under the weather the past couple of days. She is almost back to her normal self Today. Talking non stop.

Mister A. goes to a Public Developmental Kindergarten. I had his parent teacher conference last night. He is doing really well. He has made so progress with his social skills. Which is a lot better than last year. He has also mastered some academic things. His Teacher says " He has a lot of potential." I really like his Teacher this year.

Miss Z, Hasn't been feeling to well either, but she is always full of smiles. Has been trying to talk some. She says Ow and stop. She also says Miss B's name pretty well.

Mister J, is full of smiles and giggles. He is trying to sit up. He still has a round bottom. He is pretty vocal. He knows how to get your attention.

Why do I torture myself ?

Several months ago I decided to strip and repaint a dresser that has been in out in our garage . After stripping four layers of paint and repainting it. It is finally finished and in Baby Z and Baby  J's room. 

My husband built Miss G and Miss B loft beds. Do you have any idea how difficult it is to paint a room with gigantic  beds in the room? I have now moved on to painting the loft beds. One down one more to go. This is after one coat of primer and two coats of paint and two days of painting.

I will post pictures of the fruits of my labor after I finally finish.
